Here at Hey with Zion Primary School, we take pride in ensuring that all children look well presented in their uniform. 

White polo shirt, red crew neck jumper/sweatshirt or cardigan with or without school logo, grey skirt or pinafore, grey trousers or shorts and smart black shoes.

A red and white check dress for summer is optional. Hair adornments must be in the colours of the uniform (red, white or grey only). We encourage long hair to be tied back.

P.E Kit: Black pumps, black shorts and a plain white P.E t-shirt. 

For outdoor PE sessions your child will need a black sweatshirt and black jogging pants (no designer wear or logos).  They will also need trainers.

Your child will come dressed in their P.E kit on the day of their session. Each class will be told when their PE days will be at the start of the year. Children are encouraged to bring a change of footwear if they wish to play on the all-weather pitch during lunchtime.

Book Bag: Book bags (are preferred over rucksacks as we have limited space in our classrooms) are to be brought to school every day. 

Jewellery: Permitted jewellery includes a wristwatch (smart watches must not be worn) and plain stud earrings.  Any other earrings must be taken out independently for P.E. and sport.  Parents and Carers may discuss individual circumstances with the headteacher.

Mobile phones: Permission must be granted by the headteacher at the beginning of the academic year; the school reserve the right to revoke authorisation if necessary.

Mobile phones are only for year 5 and 6 children. These must be handed in to the school office before entering the building and collected at the end of the school day. 

Nail polish or makeup are not be worn
